1970s Jean Varon net sleeve trapeze dress 1960s A fun pair of 1950sHoly Moly. One of the most fantastic pieces I've seen from the Jean Varon label of designer John Bates, early 1970s, in high quality weighty synthetic jersey and gorgeous shade of powder blue. The body of the dress is hugely full, trapeze style, but draws right in as desired with a long matching tie belt. The sleeves, typical of JV at this time, are also massively full, set in raglan style from the shoulder and ballooning to a flat cuff. They are
